Ohhh Sweet Emily, lap dog girl in a big dog body, spayed female shepherd mix, 61 lbs, heart worm tested (neg), microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and preventives, dewormed. She is a shy girl but warms quickly. It really won't take long for her to become your shadow, she easily attaches to her person. She is great to walk, no pulling, will wait at corners. She knows sit, too. She will sit to be leashed and sit when you are giving her meals. She takes treats very gently. Great go with you anywhere dog. Loves to go for car rides. Emily really likes other dogs and ignores cats. She had puppies at the shelter Dec 20th, and they've all found their forever home...but mama is still waiting! Since she is easily startled, she probably shouldn't go into a home with small children. She is just learning to play with other dogs, so if you are looking for a friend for your dog, she is not food or toy possessive. She can lay next to other dog with marrow bone or will filled kong, no problem. It may take a while to see them play together, but you can tell she has it in her.She can get a little overexcited and play mouthy with people, it's like she's now getting to be a puppy. She is very responsive, so she will overcome this stage. She loves antlers, bones, kongs. Emily needs a calm and consistent home, which she'll pay for with endless love, devotion, and the biggest doggie grin EVER Meet her at Petco in Leesburg Sun 1:30-4:30
