Domestic Short Hair - Luka - Large - Adult - Female - Cat
1/28/13. Luka is a little camera shy, and is much cuter in person! She was hanging around the shed behind our clinic. We were able to trap her and bring her inside. So far she has been a sweet, gentle girl. She likes to be petted, and gets friendlier the more time we can spend with her. She is still shy, but we believe that she did have a home at some point in her life. We think she is around 5 to 7 years old and is a beautiful grey tabby. We have been able to examine, vaccinate and deworm Luka, with no trouble! We discovered a spay scar, confirming our hunch that she had a home with people somewhere along the way. She had a scratch on one of her corneas indicating some sort of trauma, but it has healed nicely. April, xxxx: Luka is being fostered at a staff members' home where she is very content to sit in a window watching the outside world! She is free to leave the foster room she is in, but doesn't choose to do so. She is still shy and wary of people and other animals, but not terrified. We think she will be a great companion for a small family in a quiet household. She seems indifferent to other cats and dogs. August xxxx: Luka is back at the clinic. She has her favorites amongst the staff, and loves attention from them. She likes to sit in the window in our exotics ward and bird watch. We would very much like to find her a forever or even a foster home. Luka is available to meet at the clinic. Please call the office and ask for Lorraine.
