Maggie (tan) and Daisy (black and tan) are being fostered by one of our technicians. They were pulled from the Berkeley County Animal Shelter in West Virginia. They are up to date on vaccines, mostly house trained, and get along with cats, as long as the cats don't get too close when they are napping. Maggie is definitely better with cats than Daisy. Both are spayed, and had badly needed dental cleanings. Maggie also had an inguinal hernia repaired. They are a bit barky with new dogs, but if introduced carefully and properly, should have no trouble getting along. It is unknown how they are with children. They are the sweetest girls who are wonderful family members. They love to cuddle with their people, and are quite comforting. They also love to go for walkies. Their perfect day would probably be a big breakfast, long (but not too strenuous) hike, then cuddling on the sofa until dinner. Then more cuddling. They are close, so we would like to keep them together. We would consider adopting them separately if the new family would understand it would be for a trial period, and if they live within 15 miles of the clinic (just to see how things would work out).
